The three family members who died from suspected bird flu infection were residents of Bangli Regency. The newly hospitalized case is from Tabanan Regency. The location of these two regencies in Bali is shown on the map below. It is worth noting that in 2007 there was a 28 year old woman from Banjar Batu Gaing, Beraban village, Kediri Subdistrict, in the Tabanan Regency who died from bird flu and was confirmed by WHO.
