        Kabupaten Sidrap menetapkan wilayahnya dalam status siaga satu flu burung. Cepatnya meluas virus yang bisa menular ke manusia tersebut, membuat Dinas Peternakan Sidrap kewalahan, lantaran jumlah ayam yang mati terus bertambah, sementara persediaan vaksin semakin menipis.
