The thread above contains the count of conifrmed H5N1 cases in Egypt. It already has 10 deaths in it, not counting the case in this thread. And there have been far fewer than 95 bird flu deaths in Egypt so far (total), so this article is highly suspect.

    ---------------

The report above lists just 36 fatalities in Egypt, not 95.

The WHO charts are a "minimum". Those numbers represent the official sanctioned number of cases by the various governments and submitted to WHO for verification.

The article is correct about the official number of H5N1 deaths for 2010.

We will need to check more.......

I think it's swine flu, not bird (they just accidentally called it the wrong thing):

Farida Abdel Kakim, a 29-year-old woman, died from the H5N1 virus, or "swine flu," in the Nile Delta province of Daqahliya on Tuesday.

Abdel Kakim had undergone tests at the hospital that proved she was infected with the disease.

The Arabic article quoted below clearly states it's a confirmed case of H1N1.She was quarantined last Saturday in mansura hospital and passed away yesterday.

Here's the Arabic. It's H1N1. "Bird flu in pigs" is what the machine translator does to "swine flu" often.

Said Ahmed Taher, director of the Office of the Governor of Dakahlia medical report sent by the Directorate of Health confirms that the unique Bdrn were infected with pneumonia four years ago, causing her lung fibrosis, and results of tests after her death to confirm bird flu in pigs.
