    Masrawy - Special - The Ministry of Health in a statement on Friday it had found two cases of bird flu, bringing the total casualties since the disease appeared in Egypt to 102 cases.

    The ministry said in a statement that the situation of 101 young people from Kafr El-Sheikh at the age of 13 years, and the situation of a woman of 102 from 30-year-old Glynn County from the city of Kafr el-Sheikh.

    Egyptian families are still in rural areas retain the custom of raising poultry at home, leading to mixing for children and women, the Government is making strenuous efforts to contain the deadly virus and limit its spread, and calls through the media to avoid mixing with any final birds only after measures precautions.

    The Ministry of Health announced earlier in the death of infected with bird flu-old woman 29 years of Monofia, and the Fever Hospital Shebin Following the failure in the functions of breathing.

    This situation is the case of human infection by the disease No. 99, bringing the total number of deaths in Egypt, 30 cases of the onset of the disease in 2006 so far, and this case is the third event of the death in 2010

          Health Ministry: 2 new bird flu cases confirmed


          A statement released by the Ministry of Health on Friday 19/2/2010 confirmed two new bird flu cases in Egypt bringing the total number to 102.


          The 101 case is a 13-year-old boy from Kafr El-Sheikh governorate. The 102 case is a 30-year-old woman from Qellin city, Kafr El-Sheikh governorate.

            today the ministry of health released another report which is dated for the 20th of february 2010.

            the current numbers for the Cairo governorate show a total suspect case number of 1,290 which is un-changed from the report of the 12th. The current death total remains at 16, total positive cases for Cairo remains at four,the total of recovered cases has increased by one to 53 persons (most likely case 98). two remain under going treatment in cairo.


            The governorate # 23 Kafr el-Sheikh Governorate (Arabic: كفر الشيخ‎)
            Has increased the total suspect case number to 1121 cases and increase of only one case.They have increased the total number of positive cases by "two to 10 cases positive". the total death count has remained at one case. cases recovered now shows one case, which was just added between the 16th and 20th of this month.

            The governorate # 19 Monufia (Arabic: المنوفية)
            Has increased the total suspect case number to 720 cases and increase of seven.The total number of positive cases remains at 12. the total death count remains at two. cases recovered remains at zero.

            the total suspect case count number since 2006 now stands at 11,484 Fourteen new suspects cases were added between the 16th and the 20th.

              The emohp has released two reports in two days, one each for the 21st and 22nd of february 2010

              the report for the 21st indicates case number 100,101 and 102 remain hospitilzed the reported also added two new suspect cases to the total suspect case tally (11,486)

              The governorate # 23 Kafr el-Sheikh Governorate (Arabic: كفر الشيخ‎)
              Has increased the total suspect case number to 1122 cases and increase of only one case.The total number of positive cases remained at 10 cases positive". the total death count has remained at one case. cases recovered now remained at one case.

              The governorate # 04 Faiyum Governorate (Arabic: محافظة الفيوم‎)
              the current status for this governorate, since 2006 is the Total suspect case number is 219, six positive cases total, two deaths reported and one case of recovery.

              The second report which is for the 22nd adds five new suspect cases to four governorates.It also indicates case number 100,101 and 102 remain hospitilzed as of the 22nd

                  Department of Health announced the Kafr El-Sheikh on injured: Zainab Abdul Aziz Al Haddad (30 years), Mohamed Abdullah Mohamed al-Sayed (13 years) infected with avian flu, fever hospital was Hdzhma Kafr El-Sheikh.

                  The Directorate: that their samples are positive, and that brings the number of cases at the level of the Republic to 102 cases since the outbreak of the disease until now.

                  On the other hand announced that the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine, Kafr El-Sheikh 8900 execution of an infected bird with various illnesses, and the closure of 25 poultry farms do not comply, the closure of 9 shops for the birds in Kafr El-Sheikh and Desouk; for non-compliance with the specifications.

                  It was also editor of 100 cases of butcher shops in all centers to maintain; to slaughter outside Alskhanp.

                    The emohp has released a report today.

                    which is dated for the 28th February 2010.Reading the report indicates case number 101 and 102 have recovered from the treatment which took place in Cairo.as the amount of recovered cases has increased by 2 to 55 under the Cairo governorate. they were the only 2 cases listed as under-going treatment in the previous report from the 23rd.
