        Hi everybody,

I have a bit of spare time today.

case number ninety five was still hospitalized on the third when case # 96 was first reported publicly by the ministry of heath.

case 95 is recorded and reported for the governorate of Qalyubia Governorate (Arabic: القليوبية‎) no other details are available from the report for age or gender.

i can tell you from January 7th when the suspect case total was 483 for the governorate. only two new suspect cases have been officially recorded for the governorate since, with the total reaching to 485 suspect cases from 2006. from this only seven have been ever confirmed positive for the governorate with no deaths being reported.six cases total have recovered and case number ninety five was still undergoing treatment in the hospital on February 3rd 2010.

case number ninety six is reported for Monufia Governorate (Arabic: المنوفية)

from 2006 until February 3rd 2010 703 total suspect cases have been officially recorded for the governorate. from this a total of ten positives cases have been recorded, the breakdown is one reported outcome of death, eight cases of recovery and case number ninety six remained hospitalized undergoing treatment as of February 3rd 2010

It looks to me like the cases are increasing rather rapidly when compared to last years information. while at the same time the suspect case numbers appear to be very low compared to other periods last year.this may be a case of better sampling or targeting of specific supects? or is this trend and indication of something other which only time will explain clearly.

            Thank you Twall.

ETA: Twall, can you tell me what they mean by the part in bold below:

after 7 days on this date entered the hospital issued Menouf has been suffering from double pneumonia, high fever, difficulty in breathing after exposure to birds suspected of being infected with bird flu.

The statement added that the situation got a Tamiflu-resistant to disease once they enter the hospital issued Menouf, but that the continuation of their health in a critical situation prompted the hospital was converted to the Abbasid
I thought it meant they changed medication, from Tamiflu to Relenza.

              commonground,

this group of words (التاميفلو المقاوم للمرض ) really means that tamiful is used to treat the dieases of bird flu.

it also reads like they were forced to transfer the person because of how sick they were.

Thanks again. I will just disregard the words "tamiflu-resistant" then.
