    Bird flu resurfaces in Ca Mau province

    Bird flu has broken out again in the southern-most province of Ca Mau, a local official confirmed on January 5.

    The outbreak was detected at a breeding farm belonging to Tran Van To in Khanh **** commune, Tran Van Thoi district, on December 31, 2009. The farm was home to 95 chickens and most of the dead birds tested positive for the A/H5N1 virus.

    All his chickens have been culled to prevent the spread of the deadly disease.
