    In November, the provincial animal safety testing center in Chengdu, Meishan, Ziyang, Pakistan and Ziyang, and other cities for animal products and animal disease monitoring, the monitoring results are as follows:

    A, animal testing of drugs in

    323 Pipi pig urine samples taken to detect, "clenbuterol" (clenbuterol hydrochloride), test results were all negative.

    Second, animal disease test results

    432 serum samples were collected birds, detection of avian influenza antibodies, the positive rate was 78.47%; collected 120 bird tissue samples to detect the bird flu virus, the positive rate is 0. Avian 385 serum samples were collected to detect antibodies against the virus, the positive rate of 81.04%.

    365 swine serum samples were collected, detection of hog cholera antibodies, the positive rate of 79.18%. Extraction pigs, cattle, sheep, 465 copies of serum samples to detect foot and mouth disease antibodies, the positive rate of 77.63%; taking 135 pig tissue samples to detect foot and mouth disease virus, the positive rate is 0. Test results are in line with the provisions of the Ministry of Agriculture requirements.

      I am not sure, but historically China has had a very aggressive H5N1 vaccination program in poultry.

      There were some reports last year of vaccine failure in Chinese manufactured poultry H5N1 vaccine, I believe, from Egypt.

            Since they're not specifying HP H5N1, it could be LP H5N1 or another strain besides H5.

            added: since 1/2008, 21 of 23 Avian Chinese samples have been H9N2.
