Due to the number of deaths in California and the lack of details from the State DoH, I've been keeping a county-by-county tally. Now that the DoH is only providing county level data monthly and because their total seems to always be 10 to 25 percent behind, I'll try to post the tally regularly.

I was really encouraged to see the hospitalizations go down dramatically this week in California. I've been concerned about the steady number of deaths reported week in and week out since the summer. There was a brief lull in the late summer, but that was it. If things don't slow down in the next few weeks, they could simply experience one, long wave into the winter.
