صرح الدكتور نصر السيد مساعد وزير الصحة للطب الوقائي بأن الاصابة البشرية رقم57 بمرض إنفلونزا الطيور قد تأكدت امس وهي لطفل يدعي عبدالله عمران ويبلغ من العمر سنتين و8 أشهر من العامرية بمحافظة الاسكندرية. وأضاف أن بداية ظهور أعراض المرض علي الطفل كانت امس الأول ودخل علي اثرها مستشفي حميات الاسكندرية.
