FORT SMITH, Ark. (5NEWS) - A Fort Smith woman is fighting for her life in a St. Louis hospital after contracting the H1N1 virus and losing her unborn child.

Saturday, THV11's CBS affiliate in Northwest Arkansas 5NEWS spoke with the Leslie Creekmore's grieving husband.

She reportedly began feeling ill last Monday and within days had to be hospitalized.

Chris Creekmore says his wife did not get a flu vaccine this year.
