Arifin Achmad Hospital is Treating a Bird Flu Suspect from Pelalawan
RSUD Arifin Achmad again treated a suspect bird flu patient. The newest patient came from Pelalawan.
Riauterkini-Pekanbaru- A Pelalawan resident was named Solihin (31) must undergo the intensive maintenance in ruag the patient's isolation suspect bird flu of RSUD Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru.
Solihin was the reconciliation patient from Puskemas ( Community Health Centre,ed) Kecamatan Teluk Meranti, Kabupaten Pelalawan that suffered the fever with symptoms of the bird flu virus since the end of last week.
According to RSUD Arifin Achmad public relations, Yusi Pratiningsih, this Pelalawan resident must be treated in isolation room with the status suspect bird flu because of the symptoms that was suffered headed there.
“The pasient suffered the hot fever was accompanied by laryngitis, because that was afterwards treated by us in isolation space ,” he said to the reporter, on Tuesday (21/4/09).
To get the assurance of the cause was sick that was suffered by Solihin, Yusi said that the RSUD side took sempel blood and swap (the liquid tenggorokan.red) the patient. Both samples this has been sent to the Centre of the Departemen Laboratory of the Health in Jakarta. “ Samples of blood and swap of the patient has been sent by us on last Monday. Hoped by us two days are still known by results ,” he explained.
In the meantime Chairman Tim of the Control of RSUD Arifin Achmad Azizman Saat Bird Flu said, that clinically speaking, the condition of Solihin continued to show the improvement.
