1. Avian Influenza
Dong Thap: According to reports of Dong Thap SDAH and RAHO VII, SDAH culled all the chickens of a household in Tan Hoa hamlet, Tan Nhuan Dong commune, Chau Thanh district right after receving the information that 350 AI suspected chickens were died out of the flock of 500. Also, SDAH send the blood sample for laboratory testing and the result confirmed that it is positive to H5N1 virus. By conducting outbreak investigation, they found that this flock had a clinical signal since 14th July. Local authority is implementing urgent prevention and control measures.
Currently, Tra Vinh and Dong Thap provinces reported AI cases in poultry within the last 21 days.
