Recovered. On 2/25 experienced fever again. Media says "Positive".

    But mixin, we also got a report out of Metronews today, where he was in Annisa hospital for 6 hours, and they had a "confirmation".

      Thanks Commonground. That was my best guess based on posts 169 & 170.

      I suppose we can pretty much pick and choose from all the confused news articles whether our poor patients lived (or died) from bird flu (or BDB) or any other of a hundred ailments they get. Unless I've made an error, I'm not seeing anything reported this year to date on the Who site regarding Indo.

      I think Supari did a really, really bad thing when she decided to clamp down on bird flu news.

          This report says: "no test results known" . It is not clear if this means local tests or tests by Dep of Health. May be we should keep in mind Dep of Health is the only authority to state a patient positive for avian flu. Local test results are used for treatment of the patient and don't have an official status.

                                A 6-year-old girl from Depok with initials NLM died from a suspected case of bird flu at Persahabatan hospital, East Jakarta, on Saturday after having been admitted for treated one day earlier, tempointeraktif.com reports.
