A University of California, Davis, lab has confirmed that a Los Angeles housecat had H1N1 influenza.
Experts at the California Animal Health & Food Safety Laboratory told Los Angeles County Veterinary Public Health officials Dec. 22 the cat had swine flu.
The cat was sneezing and had developed a nasal discharge and occasional cough, officials said. The cat had spent a considerable time on her owner's lap...
