Yellowstone, Silver Bow have most MT flu cases

HELENA - The latest flu numbers for Montana coming from the Department of Public Health and Human Services were released on Friday afternoon.

The numbers are reported as of Jan. 12, with DPHHS defining the influenza activity across the state as "widespread."

The highest counties of reported confirmed and suspected cases are in Yellowstone with 569, Silver Bow at 328 and Lewis & Clark with 306 cases.

With the most recent numbers, the state has seen 126 hospitalizations for influenza, and six deaths have been attributed to the flu in Montana this season.
