David Henry picks up his son, Dawson, 4, to carry him to the bathroom while Beth Henry looks on at the family's home in Belleville. Doctors had to amputate Dawson's feet and ankles, and place skin grafts on the rest of his legs, after he came down with purpura fulminans, a mysterious blood clotting condition, in May. David Henry said the family is creating a "new normal."
