She managed an apartment complex at 71. She proved that seniors as a class should not be discriminated against as far as COVID restrictions. However, homicide by car can affect people at any age, no matter how healthy.

Lee Owen loved her grandchildren, rescued bulldogs and the Dancing Grannies. She was killed at the Waukesha Christmas Parade.
