World Health Organization has revised recommendations regarding the treatment of influenza A/H1N1 and released a series of tips on how to avoid transfer of disease in severe form.
"Individuals at risk should take antiviral drugs immediately after the first symptoms of the disease. This applies to pregnant women, children under 2 years of age and those suffering from respiratory diseases," - said in Geneva, the WHO Representative Nikki Shindo.
In addition, antiviral drugs should take a person who manifested persistent flu symptoms (shortness of breath, fever, persisting for more than three days) or whose condition is rapidly deteriorating.
