- Regional influenza positivity decreased from 7% in week 23 to 4% in week 25 of 2026. The observed decrease, however, is likely influenced by incomplete or reduced data submission in week 25. SARS-CoV-2 positivity remained below 5% in the Region (Figure 1).
- The predominant circulating influenza subtype was A(H3), accounting for 57.7% of all detections in week 25; however, this figure may be attributable to incomplete data submission. In week 24, the predominate subtype was influenza B(Victoria), accounting for 68.2% of all detections. (Figure 2).
