أكدت تقارير صادرة من معامل وزارة الصحة عدم صلاحية ١٠٩٤ طناً و٤٤٣ كيلوجراماً من القمح بالدقهلية للاستهلاك الآدمى.

وسحبت لجنة من التموين ومباحث التموين والمطاحن عينات من الكمية المضبوطة، وأكدت نتائج الفحص أن القمح ضار بالصحة وغير صالح للاستهلاك الآدمى، حيث قررت النيابة إعدام الكمية وقدمت الإدارة المركزية لإنتاج القمح تظلماً من قرار النيابة إلى المستشار محمد عبدالحى، المحامى العام، تطالب فيه بوقف تنفيذ قرار الإعدام وإعادة سحب عينات جديدة بحجة أن هناك كميات أخرى من القمح موجودة بمركز إعداد التقاوى بشربين، وأنه تم اختلاط الأمر على اللجنة، فقرر المحامى العام إلغاء قرار الإعدام وتشكيل لجنة جديدة لإعادة سحب العينات وإحالتها لمعامل وزارة الصحة، وجاءت النتائج الجديدة لتؤكد أن القمح غير صالح للاستخدام الآدمى.
