This afternoon, several articles have suggested that WHO is likely to classify the H1N1 outbreak as a Level 6 pandemic.
Does anyone have a sense of what policy measures are likely to follow such an announcement? In the US, would Americans be encouraged to avoid air travel? Would schools and public meeting halls be closed? In the various pandemic readiness plans, has anyone seen suggestions for specific policies that would correspond to Level 6 classification?
Apologies if this is a frequently asked question. I used the forum's search feature, and could not find the answers elsewhere.

p.s. As a side note, I just want to say "thanks" to the forum moderators and all the participants who have made this such a useful resource.
