WAUSAU ? Renae Whipps of Wausau often worried about her husband?s health; at 43, he was overweight and struggled to keep his blood pressure under control. But she never thought her husband would die after coming down with the flu.
Tragically, that?s exactly what happened. Jeremy Whipps Sr. died Feb. 4, two weeks after he was diagnosed with the H1N1 flu virus. He was 43.
