تحقيق: محمد التوابتي: بالرغم من تعدد الاحتجاجات والاعتصامات والمظاهرات ضد العطش إلا أن أزمة مياه الشرب مازالت قائمة وبقوة ففي مركز بلقاس بمحافظة الدقهلية توجد 42 قرية تموت عطشا كما توجد عشرات القري الأخري في مركزي شربين والسنبلاوين تعاني من نفس الأزمة.​
