Before posting this information, I must thank Alice Johnson, mother of the 34 year-old woman who died this past Tuesday from H1N1 in Virginia, for providing the following medical information re: her daughter.
"(daughter) had Cornelia de Lange Syndrome, cerebral palsy and congestive heart failure...In November, she had allergic reaction that caused respiratory arrest...hospitalized for 17 days, 14 on a respirator...they only gave her a 50% chance, for the next year, of survival...(daughter) had lived at the Center for 19 years...on Friday...went to the hospital- sent home diagnosed with pneumonia...she returned the next day...the next time she was admitted and isolated...she died Tuesday morning"
