According to the experimental results of SDAH Region VII, avian influenza has been reported in chickens and ducks of more than 1,000 birds in Mr. Giang Thanh Nhut's household in Chau Dien commune, Cau Ke district, Tra Vinh province.



On the evening of August 4, the newspaper's source said that the Sub-Department of Livestock and Veterinary (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tra Vinh province) had reported on more than 1,000 poultry in Cau Ke district. with H5N1 flu.

According to this report, avian influenza has just occurred in Mr. Giang Thanh Nhut's household (in Chau Dien commune, Cau Ke district, Tra Vinh province) with a total of 1,040 2-month-old poultry (including 1,000 chickens and 40 ducks).

Earlier, on July 27 after the poultry flock of the Nhut family and about 200 children, he reported to the local authorities. Subsequently, Sub-Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine took samples of the products and sent them to the laboratory.

According to the experimental results of SDAH Sub-Region VII, the poultry flocks are under credit with H5N1 avian influenza.

Immediately after the results of the SDAH Regional Animal Health Department's inspection results were received, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tra Vinh province directed the Sub-Department of Livestock Production and Animal Health to coordinate with the local authorities to destroy poultry flocks immediately. . At the same time, guide the breeding households to clean up the waste, eliminate the waste, disinfect the breeding facilities.

At present, Tra Vinh Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department is also cooperating with localities to urgently implement measures to prevent dehydration, manage poultry resources on the spot and other places in accordance with regulations in order to limit to lowest spread spread over a wide area.
