El encuentro de capacitaci?n, realizado en la sede de la UNLP cont? con el apoyo del ?Proyecto de Influenza Aviar y otras ENTRAS? del Consejo Agropecuario del Sur-Comit? Veterinario Permanente-Banco Mundial e Instituto Iberoamericano de Cooperaci?n para la Agricultura (CAS/CVP/BM/IICA) que es administrado por esta ?ltima entidad.

En el acto inaugural disertaron el director nacional de Sanidad Animal del Senasa, Jorge Dillon, el decano de la Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias, Edgardo Nosetto; el representante del IICA en la Argentina, Victor Arr?a; el coordinador del Proyecto de Influenza Aviar y otras ENTRAS, Dar?o Baumgarten y el Miguel ?ngel Petruccelli, de la C?tedra de Patolog?a de Aves y Pel?feros de la UNLP, quienes destacaron la importancia de la capacitaci?n para la Regi?n.

Con la participaci?n de profesionales de la Argentina, Brasil, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay y Uruguay el curso-taller tuvo como prop?sito abordar en forma t?cnica las principales enfermedades de las aves de inter?s para la industria av?cola, como as? tambi?n los fundamentos de las distintas metodolog?as diagn?sticas utilizadas en el laboratorio.

La coordinadora del Programa de Aves del Senasa, Cora Espinosa, expuso sobre pol?tica y legislaci?n del Organismo.

En la parte pr?ctica del curso se desarroll? la metodolog?a de necropsias, extracci?n y acondicionamiento de muestras, haciendo hincapi? en el reconocimiento de lesiones macrosc?picas.
