H1N1 Free Flu Shots Available in San Bernardino County on Saturday.
The 2009 H1N1 influenza vaccine will be distributed at three San Bernardino County Public Health Centers on Saturday, October 31. The Department of Public Health received 15,000 doses of the inactivated ?flu shot? vaccine that has a killed virus in it.
Due to the limited supplies, the fopllowing priority groups are recommended to get the H1N1 flu:
The following three Public Health Centers will offer the H1N1 vaccine:
City - Date - Address - Time
The H1N1 intranasal FluMist vaccine will also be available at the clinics on Saturday. The FluMist is licensed for healthy individuals two to 49 years of age.
Children younger than 10 years of age should get two doses (30 days apart) of the H1N1 flu shot and FluMist vaccine for complete immunizations.
The seasonal flu vaccine will not be available at any of clinics this Saturday. Some health care providers also have the H1N1 vaccine, so people are encouraged to check with their doctor?s office.

- Pregnant women.
- Healthy household contacts (two to 49 years of age) that take care of infants less than six (6) months of age.
- People who live with or care for infants younger than 6 months of age.
- Anyone from 6 months through 24 years of age, and
- Anyone from 25 through 64 years of age with certain chronic medical conditions or a weakened immune system.
- Health care and emergency medical personnel

- San Bernardino - Saturday, October 31, 2009 - 799 E. rialto Ave, San Bernardino map - 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
