Health department dismisses Swine flu report of Indiresh Hospital

The visiting team of the Union health ministry has directed the health department of Uttarakhand not to give credence to the Swine flu report prepared by the molecular laboratory of the Mahant Indiresh Hospital.

The three-member team consisting of the public health expert Dr Pranay Verma, chest and respiratory diseases expert Dr Amit Suri and microbiologist Dr Rushika Saxena visited different hospitals of Dehradun and inspected treatment facilities for Swine flu.

In its report submitted to the director general (DG) health services, Dr T C Pant on Wednesday, the team observed that molecular lab of Mahant Indiresh Hospital is not working as per the norms firmed up by the Centre.

Corbett employee dies of swine flu

Corbett Park's One Druga has died from swine flu. Three days ago, the disease of Durga was worsened in Kalagarh of the park. Forest worker was undergoing treatment in PGI of Lucknow. After the death of Druga swine flu, the park workers have been stirred.

On Tuesday, SDO Kalagarh Ramakant Tiwari said that 59-year-old Dargah Dayashankar Chaurasia, a resident of Lucknow, was posted in Corbett Park for the past 12 years. Three days ago, his sudden health had worsened. He was shown at a private hospital in Dhampur. He was admitted to Moradabad when the condition was not improved. Two days back, he was admitted to PGI Hospital in Lucknow. Told that he died on Monday night during treatment. The cause of death in the PM has been described as Swine Flu. According to SDO Tiwari, the first death has been done in the park from swine flu.

Corbett employees will also be examined

Ramnagar SDO Ramakant Tiwari told that after the death of Van Dorga's Swine Flu, the officials living near him were instructed to conduct an investigation. Told that the park administration itself will also get the other employee examined. Swine flu deaths in Ramnagar

Ramnagar Three people have died from swine flu in Ramnagar. In 2018 a person resident of Gulargatti died. After this, a young man resident of Peorodara died. Now the death of Corbett employee has stirred up.

Office of the director general released figures 502 cases 33 fatal. 229 from government hospitals, 273 from private. However CMO in Dehradun released figures of 519 cases with 32 fatalities in that city alone. DG says that SMIH hospital has not been sending their samples for verification, thus 27 deaths are classified as suspect. SMIH for their part reports 399 cases and 38 deaths at their hospital alone and that they are complying with all required rules. The official number being reported by the IDSP national figures is 211 cases with 6 fatalities.
