As things progress and the pandemic gets closer to home, you might consider using greywater instead of wasting your potable water. Greywater is the water from your bath and from washing clothing. It also can be the rainwater that you harvest from your downspouts. It can be the water reclaimed from shaving, or from washing off vegetables. When potable water is at a premium, we need to be very creative about water usage.
Greywater can be used to water our herbs and vegetables in a pinch. Rainwater collected might be filtered for potable use, or might be used to keep the all to0 important bean crop from wilting during summer droughts. Greywater might be collected and used to flush toilets. What other ways might we use greywater during the pandemic?
