CDC concludes Indiana MERS patient did not spread virus to Illinois business associate

WHAT: After completing a series of more definitive laboratory tests, CDC officials announced today that an Illinois resident was not infected with Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) during a business meeting he had with a man later hospitalized in Indiana and confirmed to have MERS.
