US - ‘Worst Kept Secret’ Is Keeping Economy Alive, But Not For Long: video interview

I really like this interviewer's style. He was at Kitco news and has apparently started his own channel on youtube.

Coincidentally, I saw this other interview with DiMartino earlier today. She thinks the troubles in Silicon Valley will fan out to the heartland. Bankruptcies are increasing at the fastest rate since 2009. (https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/bankruptcies#forecast) I watched another interview with a woman from Fitch who talked about the possible effects of the US sovereign debt downgrade upon municipal bonds. She said there were a few on their watch list. She predicted that the average consumer's pandemic savings increase would be spent by the end of the year, so sales tax revenues will decrease. (The money accrued by the wealthy doesn't get spent.)
