[h=1]Officials stumped on reasons for AZ's flu season[/h] PHOENIX - State officials said Wednesday the number of confirmed cases of the flu have risen to 9,500 for the season, the highest totals in the country.
Officials with the Arizona Department of Health Services said they don't have a concrete reason why Arizona's flu season is so high.
Doctors at Maricopa Medical Center said the emergency department starts filling up at about 4 p.m. when children get out of school and parents are off work. In a few hours, they said, all the beds are filled with people they suspect have the flu...
