The situation with the incidence of influenza and SARS on 12/06 April 2015

[TD] According to the Centre for influenza and SARS State institution "Ukrainian Centre for Disease Control and monitoring of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" and Gossanepidsluzhby Ukraine for the period 12/06 April 2015 an epidemic of influenza in the region exceeded and range from -4.7% in Khmelnytsky to -73.8% in Ivano-Frankivsk.
During the reporting week with the flu and SARS ill 140 562 people, of which 63.9% are children under 17 years. The incidence of influenza and SARS (total) population of Ukraine is 32.7 per 10 thousand people, which is 6.4% less than last week.
The highest incidence of influenza and ARI recorded in Kyiv - 61.7 smallest - in Kharkiv oblast - 11.8 per 10 thousand. Population.
During the reporting week were hospitalized 5437 persons (3.9%), which is 5.6% less than in the past, of which 73.8% were children under 17 years.
Throughout Ukraine continues to reduce the intensity of the epidemic process. The growth rate among adults and children up to 17 years decreased by 10.1% and 4.1% respectively.
In Zaporizhzhya and Khmelnitsky region recorded 2 deaths among patients with influenza.
Since the beginning of the epidemic season vaccinated against influenza 147,252 people - 0.4% of the population of Ukraine, of which 97.8% were individuals at risk.
The volume of vaccination among groups of medical, epidemiological and occupational risk is low. Proportion of children vaccinated against influenza is 19.0%.
