Bird flu has been ruled out as the cause of more than a dozen swan deaths at a popular Carlisle park.

... A council spokeswoman said: "Defra has ruled out bird flu as the cause of death and are continuing to test the dead swans

?They have narrowed down the probable cause to two types of enteritis (infections of the gut) found in waterbirds.
