Defra confirms new bird flu outbreak in Gloucestershire

The government has confirmed a new case of bird flu in captive birds at a non-poultry premises in Gloucestershire.
The avian influenza outbreak, near Stroud, was of the H5N8 strain, Defra said in a new update on Thursday 19 November.
A 3 kilometre and 10 kilometre Temporary Control Zone has been put in place around the infected premises.
The pathogenicity of the outbreak is to be confirmed, the department added.
