Cullompton rugby club postpone game after mumps outbreak

Cullompton postponed their game with North Petherton on Saturday following an outbreak of mumps in the camp.

Head coach Chris Wall said the club were left with little option, but to reschedule their first and second team matches on Saturday after four of their players and a player-coach went down with the contagious disease...

Students off sick after mumps outbreak in Mid Devon

Students are being advised to get a catch-up MMR jab after a suspected mumps outbreak at a Mid Devon school.

There are currently 16 children off sick at Clyst Vale Community College in Broadclyst who are believed to have come down with the viral infection. Those affected are away from the college and at home receiving treatment...

A warning about the contagious virus was sent to Derwent College students in an email by Dean Jenny Underhill after officials had been notified of the suspected outbreak last week...

Students at Brasenose College in Oxford started to fall ill with the virus last week, just as summer exams began, and it is thought at least 30 students have been affected...
