Man dies of suspected Ebola in Kitgum

A man has died of suspected Ebola at Kitgum Hospital. The Hospital Medical Superintendent, Geoffrey Akena, said the patient was admitted with abdominal pain and was bleeding from the nose.
Akena said samples have been taken to the Virus Research Institute in Entebbe for testing.
However, health minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda told reporters in Kampala that ministry had not received any reported Ebola case by Wednesday morning.
He said a special desk has been put in place at the Entebbe Airport to screen people coming into the country.
