Uganda People News: Brown Kasava disease hits Yumbe

The cassava brown disease has broken out in Yumbe district destroying over three 3,350 hectares of cassava plantation, leaving farmers in tears.
The most affected areas include Lamogi, Kochi, Haliwa, Kalulu, Draigin, Apo, Adravo among others.

The outbreak of cassava brown disease has raised serious concerns among the farmers and re residents who fear hunger may strike the areas...
