It is unfortunately that season once more - the season in which flu, colds, stomach bugs and sinus infections run rampant through homes and jobs and back again. Jodie Armstrong, public health and emergency preparedness coordinator with the Brownwood-Brown County Health Department said, ?We are at the peak of the flu season.?

Armstrong said there were 175 cases of the flu confirmed recently, not including schools, which are not in session right now, but usually are a high percentage of flu cases...

...As for Brown County, Armstrong said, ?It hasn?t been an unusually high season, but we have a lot. Some people got it twice ? We want people to know we are here to help.? For more information or any questions regarding influenza, the Brownwood/Brown County Department of Health have flyers and brochures on influenza and prevention or call them at (325)-646-0554.
