Brazos County Health District confirms bacterial meningitis case at Bryan ISD
A student at Bryan ISD got sick with bacterial meningitis on Friday, the Brazos County Health District said.

BRYAN, Texas ? A student at a Bryan ISD Disciplinary Alternative Educational Program was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis on Friday, the Brazos County Health District said in a press release. The health district said test results showed the illness is contagious, because it was caused by the Neisseria meningitidis bacteria.
The health district said it is working with Bryan ISD to investigate how the student got the disease and what people who may have been exposed to it should do.
