Measles case confirmed at Plano West Senior High school

One case of the measles has been confirmed at Plano West Senior High School, according to a news release dated Aug. 24 from Collin County Health Care Services.
The county said anyone who had been in the school Aug. 14-16 could have been exposed to the highly contagious, airborne virus...
...The county advised anyone who may have been exposed to the virus to monitor themselves for symptoms until Sept. 6?even if the individual has already vaccinated for the virus. The county also requested individuals who have not been vaccinated for measles, or who have received only a partial immunization, to ?stay home from school, child care settings, and group settings,? until 21 days after the individual may have first come in contact with the virus...
A toddler in Houston has tested positive for measles, the city?s first case in five years.
The boy, between the ages of 1 and 3, recently traveled overseas with his family where he may have contracted the disease, according to Houston health officials.
The test results were confirmed by the Texas Children?s Hospital where the boy is being treated...
Passengers on 4 Texas Southwest flights possibly exposed to measles

DALLAS, Texas (KXAN) ? A passenger who traveled on four Southwest flights in Texas two weeks ago was later diagnosed with measles, prompting the airline to warn all customers also traveling on those planes.
On Aug. 21, the passenger flew from Dallas Love Field to Houston Hobby Airport on Flight 5, then flew on Flight 9 to Harlingen. The next day, that person flew back through those same airports on Flight 665 from Harlingen to Houston and then to Dallas on Flight 44...
