Thus, from the beginning of 2013 in Georgia victims of virus H1N1 of steel 15 person. Among them two children till 4 years, one ? from 5 up to 14, two older people older 65 years, and the others in the age of from 30 till 64 years.

In total in Georgia 236 cases of disease by virus A/H1N1 and 16 cases B/H1N1 are at the moment fixed. Basically it is children till 4 years.

During too time the chapter of the National center of diseases and public health Паата Имнадзе has declared, that danger of mass propagation of a virus of type H1N1 in Georgia is not present.

According to the center, the greatest quantity (12 person) dyed from virus H1N1 concerns to an age category from 30 till 64 years. Besides from a virus two children till 4 years, one ? in the age of from 5 till 14 years and two older people older 65 years were lost.

In total in Georgia 242 cases of disease by virus A/H1N1 and 16 cases B/H1N1 are at the moment fixed. Basically it is people older 65 years. Earlier the chapter of the National center of diseases and public health Паата Имнадзе has declared, that danger of mass propagation of a virus remain at home during illness, on a regular basis to wash hands and to keep, whenever possible, at a great distance from healthy people.

Pregnant woman dies of H1N1

A pregnant woman has died of H1N1 in Kutaisi. Doctors say the reason of the death was a delayed visit to doctors. They say the patient went to the hospital only after a week after the viral infection was revealed.
This is the 19th lethal case of infection; three of the victims of the virus were children and three - pregnant women.
According to the recent statistics, 263 cases of viral infection were confirmed by laboratory tests, 16 of which were infected with B type virus and others - H1N1.
Experts say the dynamic has fell, but they still call on the citizens to visit doctors as soon as the first signs of flu are revealed.

From a virus two children till 4 years, one ? in the age of from 5 till 14 years, one ? from 15 till 29 years and two older people older 65 years were lost also.

In total in Georgia 262 cases of disease by virus A/H1N1 and 22 cases B/H1N1 are at the moment fixed. Basically it is people older 65 years. Virus H1N1 extends from the person to the person. It is passed as easily, as well as the usual seasonal flu and can be passed at inhalation of the infected drops which are allocated at cough or чихании. These drops can infect also hands or surfaces. According to the Public Health and Disease Control National Centre, there are 293 laboratory confirmed cases, 23 of which died.

Most of the victims were from 30 to 64 years old. Two children under age 4 died, one from 5 to 14 years of age. One death was recorded in the 15 to 29 age group.

The national centre informs that the number of the virus cases will decrease by late March.

Citing the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, Georgia Online reports that 316 cases have been recorded in the country since the infection?s outbreak, with 294 of the patients suffering from Type A and another 22 ? of Type B of the disease.


The deceased were patients aged from 30 to 64, who turned to doctor late.


The Center?s specialists expect the disease rate to shrink later this month, reaching just a couple of cases in April.

TBILISI. March 22 (Interfax) - Another person died of H1N1 flu virus in Georgia.

A total of 26 people have died from the H1N1 flu virus in Georgia, the Georgian National Center for Disease Control and Prevention said on Friday.

The center said that people aged 30 to 64 accounted for the most deaths. In most cases, the reason people died was delay in seeking medical assistance.

Center employees said they expected the dynamic of the virus expansion to decrease by late March.
