UTICA, N.Y. -- A Utica hospital is taking precautions after two cases of Influenza A were diagnosed in one of their units. Faxton Saint Luke's Healthcare said in a statement that the cases were confirmed in the Nursing Unit 2 West.

H1N1, which is also known as the "swine flu," is a type of Influenza A, but hospital officials say these cases are not H1N1.

Following Center for Disease Control guidelines, the hospital is limiting visitors on that unit to immediate family. No visitors younger than 16-years-old will be allowed. Any unit employees who haven't had their flu shot will be on influenza prophylaxis Tamiflu, as will all patients on 2 West.

The precautions will be in place for the next two weeks.
