Two boys in central-south China's Hunan Province have recovered fully from bird flu.

The nine-year-old boy surnamed He and the six-year-old boy surnamed Ouyang recorded positive check-up results and President of the Hunan Provincial Children's Hospital Zhu Yimin, who is in charge of the treatment of bird flu patients, said his hospital will arrange regular checkups for the boys until they are 18 years old.

The boy surnamed He was diagnosed with bird flu last October and was discharged from hospital on Nov. 12, 2005 after being cured.

Ouyang was confirmed on Jan. 9 to have been infected with H5N1 bird flu. He left hospital on Feb. 23.
