Another three people with swine flu have died in Western Australia.

The Health Department has confirmed that a 45-year-old woman with underlying medical conditions died at a Perth residential care facility last month.

A 49-year-old man who also had a pre-existing medical condition died at home in Perth last week.

And a 41-year-old man also died at home last week but it is not known whether he had underlying health problems.

WA has now recorded eight deaths linked to swine flu.

THREE more people with swine flu have died in Western Australia, the WA Health Department has confirmed.
The department said the three, all aged in their 40s, had died since July 31.

A 49-year-old Perth man with an underlying medical condition died at home on August 3, and a 41-year-old man died at his home in Bunbury, south of Perth, on the same day, the health department said in a statement on Monday.

A 45-year-old woman with significant underlying medical conditions died at a Perth residential care facility on July 31.

The state now has recorded eight deaths linked to human swine influenza.
