Third confirmed case of flu H1N1 in Mogi Mirim

The Vigilance Epidemiol?gica confirmed that the examination of the 47-year-old man notified like suspect in the last week was positive for flu H1N1. It the question is the third confirmed case of flu A in the city.

The Vigilance received another two notifications of the disease in the last week. A 39-year-old man presented the symptoms, but it already received negative result. In Wednesday, day 11, a 44-year-old woman, resident of the Northern zone, also was notified by suspicion of flu H1N1. There was collection of examination and the Vigilance waits for result.
The patient is interned in the Hospital Saint Francisco, in Mogi Gua?u. In accordance with report informed by the Town hall, she is in observation and receives treatment with Tamiflu, medicine that reduces the multiplication of the viruses of the flu.
They are 12 notifications of flu A in the city, being that eight of them received negative result. Be three confirmed cases, being that one of them evolved into death, and a notified person as suspicion waits resulted from the examination.
