Valencia, 3 dic (EFE) .- The rate of influenza in the Region during week 47 of the year was 16.4 cases per 100,000 population, almost double that recorded in the previous week, which was 8, 3 cases.
According to recent data published on the website of the Department of Health, during the week between 22 and 28 April, the rate of influenza cases was 16.4 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, of which 85.29 percent were not vaccinated against the disease.
This means a hundred percent increase in the number of cases over the past week (from 15 to 21 November), according to these data, indicating that 11.76 percent had been vaccinated.
Vaccination of this year, which began on Sept. 27, is performed in a single vaccination campaign, as the dose include the virus strain H1N1 (influenza A), and the same has been included in risk groups to all pregnant women and morbidly obese. EFE
