The epidemic of influenza seems to have attained its peak during week from 10 till 16 January in France. Nevertheless, according to the data of the network of the regional Groups of observation of influenza (HOT TODDY), published on Wednesday, January 19th, the epidemic always advances in certain regions, as the Burgundy, Languedoc-Roussillon, Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Lorraine. On about 1,3 million persons having consulted their general practitioner for infections respiratory high-pitched, influenza represents 597.000 cases.
In contrario, the network of the HOT TODDY notes a slowing down of the epidemic of bronchiolite at the new-born babies.
During week from 10 till 16 January, network notably followed 31.956 customers of chemist's shop, 44.340 patients of general medicine and 9.445 patients of paediatrics.
