Malaysia, Indonesia requested the supply of chicken and egg

Director General of Animal Husbandry Tjeppy D. Soedjana tells the Malaysian government has sent an official letter of request to the poultry companies can export from Indonesia to Malaysia. "The contents of the letter of request for information about the technical requirements of health standards of poultry products and audit firms from Indonesia," he said in Jakarta today.
According to him, the government is doing an audit on a number of companies related to zoning, technical hygiene and health of poultry. He expects the audit process is complete, this year the businessman in domestic poultry is able to export poultry and egg products to Malaysia.
Tjeppy said the bulk of the audited company in the poultry production centers in West Kalimantan. It's based on export requirements according to the Law 18/2009 on Animal Husbandry and Animal Health. "Some companies are continued through the audit process and the cleanliness of poultry health zoning," he said.
Director General stated this request since 2003 after poultry exports to Malaysia were stopped because of bird flu outbreaks.
