The world is still under the shadow of the pandemic influenza H1N1 2009 virus. As of January 10, 2010, WHO reports that more than 208 countries and overseas territories or communities have registered laboratory confirmed cases of pandemic influenza H1N1 2009, and over 13,000 people have died as a direct result of this virus.
To address these concerns and share strategic and operational experience in the fight against the pandemic influenza H1N1 2009 virus, and to hear deep insights on prevention strategies from the public-health perspective, China CDC, in a joint effort with Elsevier, will host the 2nd International Forum on Pandemic Influenza on July 24~25, 2010, in Qingdao, China.
The forum will provide an unparalleled opportunity for delegates to discuss pandemic influenza from regional to global perspectives, and strategic to operational aspects with world-leading experts in public health, and key health administrators.
